How do I order a custom cake from Namelaka?

Do you deliver?

Accepted Answer

Not right now: every order is collected at the workshop, at Carrer de Cuba 96 (Mataró). We are getting ready to ship our artisan cookies across Spain, as they are the only product that travels in perfect condition. Cakes, tarts and macarons are fresh and will always be pickup only.

Which products can I order online?

Accepted Answer

You can order the whole catalogue without leaving home: message us on WhatsApp at +34 930 05 81 61 or fill in the form on the website, then collect at the workshop in Mataró. Cookies, macarons, tarts, cheesecakes and custom cakes all work the same way. The online shop with payment and delivery for cookies will come later.

How far in advance should I order?

For cookies and simple items, 2-3 days is enough. For custom cakes and celebration tarts we recommend at least 5-7 days. During busy periods (Christmas, Valentine’s Day, communions) we suggest booking two weeks ahead.

Where is Namelaka in Mataró?

Accepted Answer

We are at Carrer de Cuba, 96, in Mataró (Barcelona). We open Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:30 to 19:30, and Saturdays from 10:00 to 13:30. We are closed on Sundays.

Question 6

Do you offer gluten-free or vegan options?

We currently do not offer certified gluten-free or vegan options, as our kitchen handles gluten, dairy and nuts. If you have allergies or intolerances, ask us and we will tell you about each specific product.

Question 7

Which payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

At the workshop we accept cash, card and Bizum. For custom orders we ask for a 50% deposit to confirm, with the rest paid on collection.

Question 8

Can I change or cancel my order?

Accepted Answer

Message us on WhatsApp as soon as you can and we will adjust it if the order has not started yet. For custom orders, the deposit is not refunded if the cancellation comes less than 48 hours ahead, because by then the ingredients are already bought.
